Brixham Harbour Regeneration
Phase 1

Brixham Harbour Regeneration - Phase 1 is for the £8.8million construction of an extension to the fish market quay, along with associated infrastructure, such as power and drainage for the future phase 2 works.

Phase 2 will see the construction of the new Fish Market, new employment spaces and tourism facilities.

 
Webcam images are not available at weekends and evenings as there is no power to the cameras during these periods.

Torbay Development Agency have engaged local contractor's, Dean & Dyball Construction, to undertake the design and construction of the new quay.

Civil Engineering design will be carried out by Ove Arup & Partners, whilst Architectural input, to ensure phase 2 is fully catered for, will be by Stride Treglown Architects.

EC Harris will oversee the construction for Torbay Council.

A significant part of the project funding is being provided by the South West Regional Development Agency, the Objective 2 programme of the European Regional Development Fund and the Financial Instrument for Fisheries Guidance programme from DEfRA.
